This Rise course covered dense, content-heavy material, so the design focused on keeping learners actively involved rather than passively reading. I incorporated graphics, scenarios, and a variety of interactive elements to help learners think through the concepts and stay engaged with the material.
The goal was to help staff feel more confident building partnerships with clients. I designed the experience using branching “choose-your-own-path” scenarios that required critical thinking and reflection. Learners received immediate feedback throughout the experience, including emotional awareness through a mood meter.
The course was developed in Articulate Storyline using a full CCAF (Challenge, Choice, Action, Feedback) design approach.
The client needed employees to learn how to cancel a policy in their system. Since the process itself was straightforward, I designed a hands-on simulation so learners could practice the task directly. The simulation mirrored the actual system interface, allowing learners to navigate the process while receiving immediate feedback if they made an incorrect choice.
The experience was built in Articulate Storyline.
The client wanted the course to feel current and visually engaging, with realistic imagery that helped learners connect with the material. A key goal was making learners feel that their perspectives and opinions mattered within the learning experience.
Because the content was dense, I incorporated animation, interactive elements, and scenario-based moments to maintain interest and encourage active participation. The course was developed in Articulate Storyline.
The client needed a thoughtful way to guide employees through dense material while encouraging critical thinking. I designed the experience to break the content into manageable pieces and invite learners to actively work through the ideas rather than simply read them.
To keep the material engaging, I incorporated animation, interactive elements, community discussion boards, simulations, and scenario-based activities. The learning experience was built in Articulate Storyline.
The client wanted a full game to teach foundational insurance concepts and definitions. Because the topic can feel dry, the goal was to turn the content into something more immersive and enjoyable.
I designed a safari-themed game where learners traveled through different locations and collected items along the way. Each location and collectible was intentionally tied to the learning objectives so the gameplay reinforced the concepts rather than distracting from them.
The experience was built using Articulate Storyline, with supporting assets created in Camtasia, Vyond, and Procreate, along with custom graphics and sound effects.
The client was working with a heavy topic and wanted the course to feel lighter and more approachable. They asked for a fun tone with light gamification elements and were open to using cartoon-style visuals, though they did not want a full game experience.
I designed the course with bright visuals, short animated videos, and simple game mechanics to keep learners engaged. I also introduced a character that represented a common challenge their teams face, which helped anchor the scenarios and give the content a clear narrative thread.
The learning experience was developed using Articulate Storyline and Vyond.
